  1. skin, head and bones of 2 European plaices
  2. 2 small carrots
  3. 1 parsley
  4. 1 cm piece of ginger
  5. a stalk of lemongrass
  6. 3 kaffir leaves
  7. 1 l water
  8. 2 European plaice meat
  9. 2 tablespoons of farina
  10. salt, pepper
  11. wheat flour for coating
  12. frying oil
  13. 1/2 carrot, cut into sticks
  14. wide rice noodles
  15. shimeji mushrooms
  16. 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
  17. 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  18. 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  19. 1/2 chili pepper
  20. chives
  21. black sesame seeds

Oriental fish soup with meatballs

Gut and fillet the fish. Put the remains of the gutted plaice into a pot with water, add the remaining stock ingredients and simmer for 40 minutes.


Meanwhile, mince the meat or chop very finely. Add the groats and spices and mix thoroughly. With oiled hands, form small balls, and coat them with flour. Fry the balls in hot fat in a frying pan.


Drain the broth in a sieve and pour it back into the pot. Throw in the carrots and mushrooms. Cook over a medium heat for 10 minutes. Season the soup with sauces and pepper, add chopped pepper.


Soak the pasta in water for 10 minutes and then drain it. Put it into a pot with soup, add the meatballs and cook everything for a minute. Serve the soup sprinkled with sesame and chives.
