Preparation
To soak the nuts and fruits - brandy, cognac, whisky, or bourbon of your choice
- 1 raisinsk
- dried plums
- dried apricotsli
To be roasted
- tbsp of almonds
Drain the herring and cut into pieces. Crush the spices in a mortar. Mix the oil with lemon juice and honey, add crushed spices.
Soak the herrings in oil and spices for 24 hours. Soak the nuts in alcohol. Cut the onion into small cubes, mix with the herring, add the nuts and set aside for another 24 hours. Put the herring in a salad bowl and sprinkle with roasted nut
